Warmth In Winter 2017 Battle of the Bands Guidelines
All bands, consisting of two (2) or more youth, need to prepare an eight (8) minute set. This should be two songs; the first song should be a praise and worship song. The second song can be another praise & worship song or a well-known Christian song (check first if unsure).
Your set should contain no vulgarities, profanities, lewd comments, racist remarks, violence, sexual content, etc.
You must provide your own instruments; however, we WILL PROVIDE drums, a bass amp, 88 note weighted keyboard and a tube guitar amp. You will need to utilize the equipment we provide so that transitions between bands will be quick and smooth.
Your dress must be appropriate for a Christian youth conference. No masks or face painting.
Your band should consist of youth who are currently in grades 6th through 12th only.
Band members are only allowed to be in one band.
