Stephanie Caro has been involved in ministry to children, youth, and adults in the local church since a long time. Her humorous, straightforward style keeps her busy presenting and coaching at conferences, training events, camps, mission trips, retreats, churches, etc. She is Senior Consultant for Ministry Architects, a ministry consulting firm out of Nashville, TN.
Her books, Thriving Youth Ministry in Smaller Churches and 99 Thoughts for the Smaller Church Youth Worker, were published by Group/Simply Youth Ministry. Her newest book co-written with Brad Fiscus, Small(er) Church Youth Ministry: No Staff, No Money, No Problem comes out in 2016. Stephanie is a contributing author to several ministry resources like YouthWorker Journal in addition to her regular column Smaller Church Youth Ministry in Group Magazine. John David (J.D.) Walt serves as the Vice President of Seedbed at Asbury Theological Seminary. He joined the Asbury Seminary administration in the fall of 2000 and for eleven years served as the Vice President for Community Formation and Dean of the Chapel. Prior to this, he worked alongside Chris Tomlin in giving leadership to a local congregation within The Woodlands United Methodist Church called The Harvest in Houston, Texas. In his present role he gives key direction to the online resourcing and publishing initiative known as Seedbed, serving as chief visionary and Sower-in-Chief. Seedbed is an online publishing platform designed to develop and deliver theological and ministry training resources to the local church. Seedbed.com A sought after speaker and conference leader, a published author and songwriter, J.D. serves as a mentor to a number of pastors and worship leaders around the world both well known and unknown. He has served as a pastor and teacher in the Passion movement and is involved as a theologian with Worship Central, the worship equipping ministry of Tim Hughes and Al Gordon of the United Kingdom. He is a licensed attorney in Arkansas and an ordained elder in the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. He is married to Tiffani, also an Asbury Seminary graduate and ordained Deacon in the UMC, and they reside in Franklin, Tennessee with their four children David, Mary Kathryn, Lily and Samuel. JD will be leading a Bible Study each morning in the Delta Mezzanine.
CREATIVE WORSHIP ARTIST
Scott Erickson is a working studio artist who has been exhibited in galleries throughout the Seattle area, Atlanta, and Central California. He is also an experiential artist bringing the making of art into public spaces. Scott has collaborated with a number of non-profits, such as WorldVision and International Justice Mission, using his art skills for advocacy and fund-raising.
He has also worked with a number of musicians and has been on two nation-wide tours making art in live concert settings. Scott recently finished a three-year Artist In Residency with Ecclesia Church in Houston, TX, in which he spent his time curating a visual culture within the church community.
He currently lives with his wife Holly and his kids Anders and Elsa in Portlandia.
